But if it turns out they're wrong, and the good thing in question happens to be the Mecedes S Class, you may be pleased to see that the new C Class Coupe looks like a small scale version of its illustrious big brother.When we say 'small scale', this Coupe is usefully wider and coach outlet stores fayetteville ar longer than its predecessor. It's lower, though, and its swoopy new styling does an excellent job of hiding its bigger proportions.So too does a heavily revised suspension set up which was even more heavily revised on our test car as it featured the adjustable air suspension found on the options list at which, in our view, is worth every penny.At the heart of the new suspension are four link front and multi link rear set ups whose magic starts working the moment you turn in to your first corner. Immediately, it feels like it means business and you know you're going to be just fine with it.Our air sprung tester could be firmed up using Sport mode, but even with more pressure in the springs it doesn't skitter across broken surfaces. What body roll there is comes without a hint of malice even if you lean hard on it, loading one side to the max as you keep the throttle pinned, it doesn't feel as if it's on the verge of coming unstuck.It's comfortable, though, again with the drive mode selector in the apprortiate place. Refinement isn't its strongest suit, but if you expect too much maybe you're letting those baby S Class coach outlet coupons eastbay proportions run away with you.The cabin doesn't match those lofty standards, either, though it certainly does look cool. We were concerned by the odd trim rattle and a loose air vent not what you want to find in a split new Merc of any kind. In terms of space, it's not great in the back, but the boot's big enough to the coach online shop cope with more or less anything and the driving position is pretty much beyond criticism.The same can't be said of the 2.2 litre diesel engine in our test car, which was brisk enough but too loud under acceleration.
It was mated to the optional nine speed auto, though, and with top gear allowing it to murmur along at 70mph with the engine turning over at just 1350rpm you barely hear from it at all though wind and road noise let the side down a little here.Still, with the Coupe having a bit more sport to it we'd suggest paying a few dollars more to get your hands on the warmer C250 coach outet engine. It feels too hard worked in C220 form which is one of the few black marks against what is a stylish, fine riding car.
